GARDENING SERVICE AND MORE!

Hi, I'm Matt Horns. I relocated back to So. CA from No. CA in Fall 2009 and am a sole proprietor of a gardening business based in Venice, California. I do all the work myself, so with no middle man I can afford to charge very competitive rates. I'm a CA native and speak perfect English. My emphasis is organic gardens with native and drought tolerant plants. My educational background in geology and many years on staff with environmental work gave me excellent knowledge of soils, drainage and specific issues for gardening in environmentally correct ways.

The mainstay of my work is garden maintenance. My basic service is one full hour per week for a charge of $25.00 per visit. I work very hard and accomplish a lot in one hour. Your priorities are my priorities. Trash is picked up, any materials lying around are stored neatly, weeds are removed and dead and dying vegetation is pruned away, leaving a neat and clean yard with healthy-looking foliage.

If your yard has been neglected for a time, it may need extra time. I can be available for longer hours for additional agreed upon payment.

We will complete a written agreement as to your exact needs for all customers. For customers that stay with my service for 6 mos. and are willing to meet Wildlife Habitat Certification Criteria I offer a free submission for and obtainment of a National Wildlife Habitat Certification at no added cost.

For customers that stay with my service for a full year, I offer the following one month of service at no additional charge for that month.

I have a strong background in soil conservation and water quality management. I enjoy working with residents in an effort to make their homes more nature-friendly, thereby enhancing the health of our local watercourses and wildlife habitats.
