This is a great, huge house (a mansion?) We have a 1/2 acre lot w/ lots of gardening space, which is good because I'm a rabid organic gardener! We have 4 avocado, 9 orange trees, 2 lemon trees, 2 necterine, 2 peach, a Granny Smith apple, a kumquat, a Sapote, a plum & some others I can't think of; 27 fruit trees. We'll be planting more later. We also have a 1400 sq ft butterfly/humming bird garden & approximately 60 rose bushes. There is a 23x25 ft patio w/ a pavilion on one end for shade. We have a gas BBQ & a wood burning firepit. Everything in the common area is yours for the using, as long as it's taken care of.
The room that is available right now is on the back of the house, so it's quieter. It's 13'x14', w/ a great view of the backyard. We each share in the utilities. The bill comes every 2 months, last bill worked out to $60/mo for each of us.. We have virtually no electric bill (as long as every one keeps usage reasonable) because we have a 5K photovoltic system on the roof. We have a grey water system to water some of the yard. If you're not part of the solution.... you're part of the problem!
