I have used most of the UNIX and Linux distributions that are available and have been doing system administration on primarily BSD style UNIX and several flavors of Linux, including slackware, gentoo, and the Red Hat families of Linux. I have assisted in writing a few magazine columns regarding UNIX and use of computer software in DIGIT magazine which was distributed in India, 2003 and 2004. I am currently a FreeBSD OpenOffice.org developer, audacity port maintainer for FreeBSD, and was previously involved with the software development of several internet relay chat daemons (IRCD). I am very involved with the open source community and the management and development of open source software. I have lots of experience with managing a team through the phases of project development as by being the lead project developer, release engineer, and project manager at Medmania. I have taught and tutored many people in the administration of UNIX servers and the management of the software development process.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
I have great patience and communicate well with “difficult” people in a management environment. I am an excellent communicator. I love writing technical articles, solving difficult undocumented server problems, and training coworkers and customers in UNIX functionality. I work well with teams and cope well as either a leader or team player. My patience and persistence for solving almost any technical problem is vast; I don’t give up where others do. The main thing I love to do is learn new skills as well as develop innovative ways of doing things on UNIX systems.
