Experienced Director of Nursing needed for a 150 bed skilled nursing facility with a commitment to excellence to assure that patients in the health care unit receive a high level of quality clinical care and satisfaction with services

Responsibilities include managing all services provided in a long term care facility including clinical, financial, performance management, and quality of service delivery and patient care. The Director of Nursing will supervise resident care, manage practices consistent with nursing standards and state/federal regulations, establish quality assessment activities, identify and report deviations from safe practice, adhere to policies and guidelines of regulatory agencies and established policies, and manage emergency situations.
Successful candidates for this position will exhibit a history of excellence in leading teams to excel through effective communication, management ability, leadership, and teamwork. This position requires a highly visible person who enjoys the challenges of solving problems and communicating with patients and their families.

This Director of Nursing must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the state of CA, Min 2 yrs exp in SNF in a directors role, strong assistant directors are encouraged to apply. Current BCLS.
