Fortune 500 company specializing in apparel / merchandising brands seeks Content Designers for Los Angeles (mid-Wilshire) location.

Author, edit and prepare content for online communications (websites, email, social networking) that support web initiatives. There is one platform which is template driven. Repot to the VP of Online within the marketing team.

Apparel industry experience preferred, especially in beach or sport brands.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist in developing all online strategies that support multiple online fashion web sites
• Heavy web copy writing of descriptions for fashion and catalog photos
• Obtain all photo, graphic and other content from other team members or departments for use on web.
• Develop style guide for web pages and email templates.
• Prepare copy and graphics for email campaigns.
• Monitor ongoing web maintenance activities.
• Interact regularly with team to ensure that all websites are updated and in working order.
• Make recommendations for creative input, quality improvements and better efficiencies
• Edit and proof existing content for web.


JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 5 years experience in web content development and UI design.
• Must be able to work independently in this creative department.
• Solid skills in DHTML, FLASH, SEO, and Photoshop.
• Excellent web copy writing and graphics skills.
• Must be detail-oriented and organized.
