In this project manager position you will be responsible for achieving and maintaining the highest custodial standards possible standard of cleanliness throughout the facility. In addition you will be responsible for maintaining good public relations with employees,customers, site visitors and the public.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Manage the day-to-day operations of your job site including recruitment, selection,counseling, discipline, training and termination of custodial staff.
* Assist in maintaining quality and safety standards through the direct
* supervision of front line lead technicians and custodial personnel.
* Seek to establish the highest possible public relations with employees and client’s staff.
* Conduct and provide regularly-scheduled training meetings to instruct staff in safety programs, company policies and procedures.
* Maintain all controls of supervisor reports, weekly inspections and staff.
* Train all new and existing personnel in cleaning techniques cleaning products, equipment, etc.
* Handle complaints quickly, thoroughly, and effectively.
* Maintains proper inventory of supplies and equipment.
* Places orders for equipment and supplies, keeping costs within budgetary constraints.
* Conduct periodic performance evaluations with direct reports and staff.
* Consult with VP-Operations and Human Resources to resolve employee relations issues.
* Responsible for reporting injuries to Human Resources.
* Provides supervision and work direction to Site Supervisors, Leads, and Personnel.
Education and Experience:
* BS/BA degree, desired; and/or other extensive work related experience.
* 3+ years of supervisory experience
* 5+ years related experience in a janitorial or custodial company or other service-related organization.
* Must be bilingual (English/Spanish) to communicate and interact effectively with supervisor,co-workers and customers.
* The ability to work safely in accordance with company and job site safety procedures.
* The ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings to meet the demands of the position.
* May be required to drive during day and/or evening hours.
* The employee will be required to report to more than one work site in a given shift.
* The employee may work continuous and/or split shift hours, including varying shifts in a given week.
