We like to know a lot about the homes for our critters. We'll respond within 24 hours. (We're all volunteers and work full-time, so be patient with us. We will respond, I promise!) Neighbors and construction workers at a house in Burbank that was unoccupied and under construction fed and took care of Coffee. We think the prior residents just picked up and left their home and left Coffee to fend for himself. His future was unknown, and everyone in the neighborhood wanted to help this poor fellow. The power of Facebook brought us Coffee's story. Lucky for Molly's Mutts & Meows, he was networked and one of our amazing foster parents went to meet him. Dog bless Kelly and Tom Brinkman.Coffee is a sweet, friendly, playful young staffie/maybe mastiff mix, approximately one year old and weighing about 65 pounds. He is the color of coffee and cream. Plus, Coffee was his name (according to neighbors and the construction crew).Coffee wants to find a nice family he can call his own. Coffee has lots of love to give. He LOVES other dogs. He takes his treats nicely, loves a good bone and a nice dog bed. He was snipped and chipped (neutered and microchipped) on June 2 and had an exam to boot. We're pretty sure he is healthy--and fully caffeinated.We really would like to see him go to a loving home. Don't you want Coffee in your bed? A little piece of sweet Coffee cake?
