I have worked for the Los Angeles Unified School District as a Special Education Trainee for 3 years, and now I am currently employed with the Downey Unified School District as a Senior Instructional Assistant. In both districts I’ve worked with many students in regular education classes as well as inclusion and special education classes. I have worked with many different types of learners as well as students with special needs.  I have also worked with students on a one on one basis.
I have worked with k-8th grade students.
 
I am able to help Kindergarten students learn the following subjects and more:
·       Patterns
·       Reading
·       Alphabet
·       Numbers
·       Adding
·       Subtracting
·       Spelling (cvc words)
·       Writing
·       Grammar
·       Pronunciation
 
I am able to help 1st-8th grade students in all math and English classes.
 
I would prefer to work with your child at a local library; I can work with the child at home ONLY if a parent is present.
