Date Listed: May-07-08 I have a superb, fine quality solid Walnut Victorian Renaissance Revival Drop Front (U-Shaped) Dresser with raised beveled accents. This gorgeous dresser measures approx. 80” h x 17.5” d X 42.5” w. This solid Walnut Victorian Dresser exudes quality and was undoubtedly constructed by one of the finest cabinet makers of the period (Circa: 1870), though I can find no labels. The mirror top and 3 pieces of marble are removable for moving purposes. The center top of the mirror is graced with an ornate decorative crown. Raised square shaped appliqués are found above the large beveled topped wooden candle stands. The beautiful and removable gray colored, beveled, marble tops are in excellent condition. This dresser has a total of 6 dressers which are dovetailed and adorned with raised wooden panels and brass ebonized original drawer pulls. One of the drawer pulls is detached (all parts are placed in the drawer). It can be easily attached. The patina of the rich solid walnut wood on this piece is exceptionally lovely and the carvings and the raised panels are exquisite. The buyer must pickup or arrange for local pickup only. If the Buyer prefers, s(he) is welcome to contact me and make arrangements for pick up and is responsible for bringing and or securing any materials (for example, blankets, rope, shrinkwrap, trailers, u-hauls, etc) that may be needed to transport their purchase. This item must be picked up within 15 days upon receipt of payment.
