Date Listed: Jul-24-08 Hi there and thanks for checking out our listing. We are ANOTHER SKY, a rock/pop band that is based in Los Angeles. We have been quite active on the music scene, regularly doing gigs in various venues in the area, and now heading into the studio to complete our CD project with two awesome producers. Our band has been favorably reviewed by several industry professionals and we are really looking forward to more adventures and progress together with our new member. We are looking for a fun, easy-going drummer who is excited about creating music with us. Since ANOTHER SKY is quite busy nowadays, professionalism and reliability is an absolute must. We want everyone to have fun in the process of creating great music, so personality, a great attitude, and musical chemistry fit is very important. Although we are an established band, all of us have day jobs as well and we understand that this is what is needed to pay the bills. Thus, we rehearse 2 evenings a week (Monday and Wednesdays 7-10 pm in North Hollywood) and most of our gigs are on weekends. We have gotten very efficient with our rehearsal time and get a lot accomplished in 2 nights a week while having a really great time, too. There are some normal band costs that each of our members are expected to undertake, such as providing your own gas and transportation to and from rehearsals/gigs, and pitching in for our rehearsal studio space. However, there are also opportunities for each member to make money from paying gigs, future CD sales, etc. Our biggest priority as a band currently is the pending CD project in the studio with our producers. We are looking for a drummer to join us ASAP in this exciting venture. After the CD project is completed, we plan to continue gigging in the area to promote our CD, and at the same time we will be submitting our tracks for air play and to seek representation.
