American Naval Architect Bruce Kings amazing design, the Ericson 25 Plus is a unique combination of great sailing characteristics, top of the line craftsmanship and the interior space of most 28 foot sailboats.. The Volvo Penta inboard diesel is not running, but fixable. I have added a 9.9hp long shaft electric start outboard with an alternator to charge the two marine batteries. The E 25+ sleeps 5 in a V- berth, a quarter berth and two settees. There is an enclosed marine head with holding tank. This design offers standing headroom ( 6' 1" ) throughout. Aft is a full galley with two burner stove, ice box, stainless sink with fresh water foot pump and ample storage. A comfortable family cruising sailboat or a competitive club racer with a PHRF rating between 199 and 204. In todays economic climate it is nice to know you can have the features of a much larger sailboat in a boat that will fit in the smallest ( CHEAPEST ) slip at the marina.
